On our second day of island hopping in El Nido, it was raining. :( We waited for while at the port because the coast guard won't allow us to do the island hopping due to heavy rain and it was zero visibility. When the rain went slow, we started our tour. Tour C includes Helicopter Island, Hidden Beach, Matinloc Shrine, and Secret Beach. Sadly, we hadn't have the chance to witness the beauty of secret beach because the waves were so big and it's dangerous for us to enter it. Secret Beach was surrounded with huge rock formation; in order to enter it, we have to go through a small opening. Then our tour guide said that some tourist bumped their head to the rock. And so for our safety, they decided to replace it to Cadlao Lagoon, the most beautiful spot in Tour D. Despite of the rainy weather, we still had fun and enjoyed our tour.
Check out my previous post for our El Nido, Palawan Adventure (Tour A) :)
Helicopter Island
This island looks like the shape of a helicopter, thus the island is also known as 'helicopter island'. It has a beautiful underwater landscape and corals. there are also lots of different fishes that you can see here. It was a perfect spot for snorkeling just like in Entalula.

To helicopter Island
Hidden Beach
After our awesome visit at the Helicopter Island, we headed to this particular island, called the Hidden Beach. Hidden between two rocks was a white sand beach. The beach was really hidden that you can't see it unless you go further in between these two rocks.

Mantiloc Shrine and Talisay Beach
Matinloc Shrine was one of the many beautiful attractions to visit when doing Tour C. Matinloc comes from a Cuyunin word “matinlo” which means beautiful in English. In fact, the beauty of the island was also appreciated from above as it forms a heart when seen in an aerial view. Our boatmen docked us at Talisay beach, part of the Mantiloc Island. They allowed us to take pictures, swim, or snorkel while they were preparing our lunch. The best thing about our lunch was that it was prepared and cooked at the beach itself. While we were basking in the sun and swimming, our boatmen transformed into island chefs.

After our sumptuous lunch, we hopped back to our boat, and headed to our next destination. Our boat stopped in the middle of the Mantiloc Shrine, it was a spot for snorkeling. This spot was so deep, the color of the water was blue. Our tour guide didn't allow to wear our aqua shoes because it will be difficult for us to tread in water.

Cadlao Lagoon
Similar to Big Lagoon, Cadlao Lagoon is surrounded by lime rock walls with deep emerald waters that is perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Cadlao Lagoon is fronting the famous dive site Helicopter Island. This was the last destination of our island hopping. I was mesmerized by its beauty and its peaceful atmosphere. I could stay here forever <3
